Placing a digital platform at the heart of organisational change with Oxfam

Our very own Managing Director, Louis Georgiou shared his experience of working in close partnership with Oxfam, to implement a significant business-changing platform, at our Emerging digital trends for charities event we held in June.

Louis discussed the process that was undertaken to complete this 18 month project, touching on everything from managing stakeholder relationships, optimising donation funnels through complex commerce and CRM integrations. He highlighted the three key areas of focus during the development, which were people, processes and technology.

Following the completion of the company's new digital vision, the challenge was to engage the charity's different audiences, such as those interested in fundraising, volunteering, donations, events, music events, as well as policy and practice.

Louis provided a fascinating insight into the steps taken to create the overall site for the organisation, which was done whilst embracing and incorporating Oxfam's parallel internal project of rebranding the company's global image.
