It's official: We are one of the Best Places to Work 2018

This week Campaign magazine published its 50 Best Places To Work list, recognising outstanding businesses in the marketing, advertising and media industry - and Code Computerlove are one of only eight companies outside London to make the list (and one of only two companies located north of the Watford Gap!).  The results are based on the findings of an extensive employee survey.

The team here gave particular praise to our Northern Quarter offices, a flexible work space that's been carefully designed to promote a strong culture and collaboration.

We also received glowing feeback relating to the management team, the company as a whole, opportunities for personal growth, wellbeing, getting a 'fair deal' and 'giving something back'.  

When we heard the news, we asked a few Computerlovers to tell us more about why they liked working here: Alex Anderson, our Talent Director, talks us through some more of the reasons people love working here:  

"We offer some great benefits. There's the now-legendary 'Code Christmas do' that's seen us jet off together to places such as Barcelona, Berlin and Krakow. There's also a monthly 'looking after yourself in work' session run by physio experts Altius Healthcare, subsidised massages, health cover, regular running clubs and a bike allowance.  

Supporting career progression is another major area of focus for us. Each team member has a £500 personal training budget to spend as they wish, and coaching and mentoring programmes. We also run regular in-house knowledge sharing sessions and schemes that encourage collaborative working.‚

Some of the key results from the survey:

  • 96% of our staff believe they can make a valuable contribution to the success of the company and feel valued in the organisation
  • 99% agree that the senior leaders live the core values of the organisation
  • 96% feel that they can express their honest opinions without fear of consequences
  • 100% feel proud to work for Code
