Delivery Manager

We are looking for an experienced Delivery Manager to come and join us at Code. They will lead the product teams on:

  • Agile and lean principles
  • Commercial support
  • Team dynamics
  • Delivery support

They will create the right environment for the team. They will facilitate the team and remove obstacles and blockers that might get in their way. They will work closely with Code’s Product Owners (and the wider Delivery Team) with the focus of making things happen.

Role and responsibilities...

  • Supports current operational structure

  • Build and maintain motivated teams, making sure there is an iterative plan to work towards

  • Protect the team and make sure the team collaborates, communicates and focuses on what is most important

  • Coach team members and others, facilitate continuous improvement and apply the most appropriate agile and lean tools and techniques for their environment

  • Proactively manage dependencies, overcome obstacles and get the best value against constraints

  • Own critical routines that underpin commercial and operational metrics

  • Manage risks, budgets and people.

  • Team leadership

  • Focus, resilience and great at problem-solving. Able to easily continue to find solutions and work towards goals when setbacks/ hurdles occur

  • Knowledge of Project Management, Lean Product Delivery practices

  • Understanding of development processes

  • Experience of working with data/analytical tools, including Excel

  • Experience in producing insightful data analysis

  • Ability to influence key stakeholders and experience of using appropriate methodologies to create successful teams

  • Agile - own and champion across the business
