Code in the news

We’ve been especially busy at Code over the last few months, not only producing great work for our clients but getting out and about sharing our ideas and best practice at events around the UK.

We’ve also been featured across numerous marketing and digital industry-related publications, talking on thought-provoking topics from how to behave like a dot com to design sprints.

In case you missed any of them, here’s a quick round up.

In October, Dave Heath our Technical Director shared his insights into how companies can mirror the behaviours of successful dotcoms. His advice was published on The Drum, Prolific North, Smart Insights and Global Business Intelligence. Growth Business magazine also took Dave’s advice to create an article based around four themes for dot com success.

Design Director Tom Bradley spoke with industry bible Creative Review about how digital design is evolving, and why the big reveal has lost its relevance. He also wrote a piece for The Drum where he discussed why working lean drives better return on investment.

Staying ahead of the latest digital trends has also served us well, and founder Louis Georgiou’s predictions for the year ahead made news in a number of key titles including the Manchester Evening News, MSN and Communicate Magazine.

A thought-leading piece on our change in direction towards lean studio principles, agile practices, and customer-centric experiences, was amongst the Top Ten Most Read Stories on Prolific North in 2016.

Looking further back in the year, our friends at Econsultancy referenced Code’s knowledge within two separate pieces around minimal viable products: Should agencies eat their own dog food & build minimum-viable-product websites? and The 10 steps of digital replatforming. And Econsultancy also found our insights into digital transformation worth sharing.
