East Manchester
We worked with Marketing Manchester and New East Manchester Ltd to develop a sub-regional website to support the growth of East Manchester. The remit of the site is to encourage businesses and residents to consider East Manchester as a great destination to live, work and visit.
Code developed a strategic position and role for the website after a number of rounds of stakeholder research and insight development, in what is a complex and competitive online environment.
We were very clear that the site should not attempt to try and replicate leading sites such as rightmove.co.uk for home seekers, nor Business Link for those looking to secure business advice; instead the site showcases the best of the region, using residents and business owners as living case studies that bring to life the people, the place and the opportunity.
We also created a unique creative online interpretation of the brand to give the site visual standout; plus developed unique content plans with the client to ensure we had reasons to communicate as the site grew.
Due to public sector funding the site’s future is sadly under review.
