Huggies® Launch Christmas Island Viral

Digital agency Code Computerlove has launched a Christmas viral for Huggies® that lets parents create a fun Christmas card starring their own children.

Developed to promote the brand and increase registrations on Huggies® club, 'Christmas Island' follows on from the award winning Moviestar viral which, in one day, doubled the number of hits to the Huggies® website, reached 285,000 people by email and resulted in 10,000 additional entries to the Face of Huggies® Baby-dry Super Smiler competition.

Parents upload a photo of their child, choose a character - penguin, santa or reindeer, write a personal message and a unique e-card is created which can be forwarded to friends and family. Commenting on the viral, Marcelo Cruz from Huggies® said, "More than any other time of the year, Christmas is when we celebrate the family and the team at Code have developed a viral that helps parents do just that. It also fits perfectly with our brand ethos of interaction and the development of the online parenting community."

Christmas Island is being sent out to 350,000 Huggies® Club members and is part of Code's ongoing work with Kimberly-Clark's European operation. Code created Huggies® 'extremely successful Huggies® Club website huggiesclub six years ago, which has since become a key communications tool between Kimberly-Clark, parents to be and new parents.

Over the last few years, Code has won a total of 39 industry awards. So far in 2008, Code has been voted Digital Agency of the Year - The Drum and UK's number Number One UK Digital Agency for ROI in Revolution Magazine's Client Survey. Code's client list includes HMV, Waterstone's, Kimberly Clark Corporation, PZ Cussons, Crown, Lex, Brother, First Transpennine Express, Premier Foods, NUS and Hillary's.
