Code Scoops ‘Digital Agency of The Year 2010’ in How-Do Awards 2010

In this year’s How-Do Awards, Code fought off tough competition from CTI digital, KMP Digitata, Mando Group, Motionlab, Rippleffect, The Neighbourhood and Wilson Cooke to come out on top as Digital Agency of the Year. The judges awarded Code for “their 15% profit increase and 12 new client wins”.

This year’s awards showed as much glam and excitement as the BAFTA’s. There was little sign of the effects of the downturn for North West agencies and the atmosphere was one of celebration as opposed to economization. The awards’ compare was broadcasting stalwart Jim Hancock who rewarded key players in the digital, advertising, print, PR, radio and TV worlds.

The only blemish to this otherwise perfect evening was that Code’s senior management team were on a training event in Sweden so weren’t able to accept the award. Instead Code left it to the agency’s wonderful PR gal Kirsty Hunt who graciously accepted the award on their behalf.

Tony Foggett said: “I’m so gutted I wasn't back from Sweden in time for the awards, but we’re hugely honored to win digital agency. This is the second time we’ve won in the three years the awards have been running, which makes it all the more special. A big thanks to the judges for recognising the team’s hard work again this year.”
