Code makes three new appointments

Thursday, 18 October 2007

Tony Burke (29) has joined Manchester based Code Computerlove as a project manager to primarily work on the HMV account, as well as other Code clients including Transpennine Express, Hillarys and NUS Services.  Tony brings 10 years of experience to his new role. Prior to joining Code, he worked as a freelance project manager, was an e-commerce manager at Everton Football Club and an IT specialist for P&G UK's HR division.

Tony was attracted to a full time position at Code following a short stint as a freelance. He was drawn in by the quality of the clients, the team and the extremely high standard of work produced. When he's not project managing, Tony is assistant manager and captain of a Sunday League football team which is currently top of the league!

24-year-old Adam Moxley takes on the role of junior applications developer at Code and will work across a range of the agency's clients including Kimberley Clark Corporation, NUS, Waterstone's and Premier Foods.  Adam was previously a systems developer for The University of Manchester, looking after their outward facing revenue-driven sites (conferencing, catering, halls of residence and sport).

Adam puts his spare time to very good use as a volunteer counsellorfor ChildLine, spending around four hours a week in Childline's Manchester base counseling over the phone.

Mark Copeland has been appointed to provide IT support for the now 48-strong Code team. Mark (23) finished a four year Honours Degree in Computing (Web Information, Systems, and Security), which he studied at Sheffield Hallam University. Mark believes the web based course has enabled him to understand almost immediately how he can better support the IT users in the office.

Mark was attracted to Code for the great social life – he's delighted to have joined just in time for Code's Christmas party which is this year a weekend in Barcelona!
